‘Julius Caesar

I played ‘Lucius’ in Phyllida Lloyd’s all female ‘Julius Caesar’ at the Donmar Warehouse 2012/13. I’d graduated from Uri Roodner’s Contemporary Theatre, at East 15 Acting School, in 2011. So this was my first professional job.

Team & Press: Long list of brilliant people. All online somewhere I’m sure.

Personal: What was hard: I’d just graduated from a course that taught me the play itself is the most important thing, not personal egos. So adjusting to a different method of working felt abrupt. Learning to keep my mouth shut and be patient was tricky for a youngster. What I’m most proud of: It was my first professional job, and a long run. I worked really hard, gave it my all, and enjoyed it. I got to write a blues song and play saxophone on stage which was fun. What I learnt: A lot about acting, by sharing a stage with these giants. The cast really was incredible.
