Hello, I’m Charlie. I’m an actor and a writer. And more recently a director and dramaturg. My brain is fizzy and my body likes to move. I’m proper passionate about making art that’s honest, visceral, sweaty. Particulary stories that centre working class queer women and trans people.

CURRENT PROJECTS:

• As an Actor: I’m currently playing Orlando in ‘As You Like It’ at The Globe. I’ve just finished shooting A24’s ‘Major Players’ and Sky Drama’s ‘Under Salt Marsh’. I’m developing new solo show ‘Dad Dancing’ with China Plate Theatre.

• As a Director: I’ve co-directed ‘As You Like It’ at The Globe.

• As a Writer: ‘Pinocchio’ is returning to The Globe this winter. I’m under commision at Headlong Theatre, Fuel Theare , Regents Park Open Air Theatre‍ ‍and Leeds Playhouse.
